The Manhattan Triangle

It started off as an eye-to-eye make-out,
And I could tell she desired to take out
My media until I immediately meet my seed
As I consume her media take-out
With a mouth full of greed,
Money-hungry looked her face,
Not blessed with rich grace,
But luckily I booked my ace
In the hole of my heart,
Where her being with someone else
Was an infatuation blatantly left on the shelf,

I never ever met her,
But my eyes knew her,
As we inhaled the blast of the starry pineapple hookah,
She gently touched my knee,
Blushing was free,
What's your name?
Were the words her lips chanted,
Followed by a caramel smile which skid a mile
Only to arrive to a screeching halt
And abruptly send my chin to the asphalt,

She had a man who was the friend of my friend,
And I thought to myself this has to end,
But then,
Her lover leaves for a moment in time,
Only at this time she asks for ten digits,
Legit, quick-schemed was her master plan,
To deceive what her relationship actually means,
It seems like she didn't care,
Her game was more than fair
As I grabbed her hair and whispered my number in her ear,

Buzzed out of our minds,
When will her lover return?
Depends on the power of the time,
Over the music I heard the clock strike,
And he's back like Mase gracing the mic,
The guilt, the anxiety,
Made me pause still and sit there quietly,
I felt so bad in this Glad Ziploc bag of a slow love drag,
But I ignored the fear,
Chose to chill cool,
So sincere was her mystical aura,
Intoxicating my mood till I was short of...

A breath of fresh air is what I longed for,
So we all squeezed in her four door sedan,
More room was needed but I didn't care,
Her mesmerizing stare easily made me a stan,
Two hours have passed in my spinning mind,
The thinnest line is where my heartbeat would hardly beat,

Now back at home,
Caught up with my shadow's creep,
As her body rubs mine,
Her precious lips and my cheek meet,
She pulls away and returns to her lover
And so did my acute love for her,

I couldn't have her so I became annoyed,
A boy plays with toys,
A man like me was playing with great shapes,
Teased by the taste of her love sample,
With a misty view of the city skyline,
I'm trapped in The Manhattan Triangle.

Breathe Underwater

Leave me be,
Only time will set me free,
Theft was the test left,
Swollen is the weakened mind who saw the crime,
Caught in the act with no time to react,
Stolen was the hope hung from a line and left to dry,

The inhales hurt, but the exhales are much softer;
Struggling to the surface, now watch me breathe underwater...

Breathe it in, breathe it out,
Commit the sin, but pray it out,
The wrong was done to watch the sadness melt,
Trapped in a hell bearing lakes of fire,
Left to disintegrate forgetting how happiness felt,
And numb from the shock burnt down to the last wire,

The inhales hurt, but the exhales are much softer;
Struggling to the surface, now watch me breathe underwater...

The pain is heading south,
Downwards slide the words slipped from the mouth,
Speaking with enlightening tones,
Much less groans,
Singing angelic notes,
Positively thrown from this disheartening boat,

...Now watch me breathe underwater...

Nudity's Jewelry

She's naked, she's nude,
Awaiting her knight in shining armor,
Reality left in the dust just to alter her mood,
Visions flash before her eyes,
But to her surprise she flees from what she denies,

She's naked, she's nude,
Choked by life's grip,
The lack of breath strikes her face pale blue,
But what's this in the foggy rear view?
Luck missed her soul in the mist long behold,
A sparkling chance which appears brand new,

She's naked, she's nude,
More beautiful than ever,
However vulnerable to whoever tells her never,
As she is forever and ever naive,
Bred to conceive and not to relieve deceive,

She's naked, she's nude,
Finally fed up,
She seems to have stuffed herself enough,
Full of lies, done with the cries,
For a diamond need not dwell in the rough,
Locked up behind a wall of no trust,
Trying to scream but whispers slip out,
All thanks to the tightness of the handcuffs,

She will always know who but left without a clue,
Held back from this thing called truth,
Her face so distant from me,
Yet her tears are so used to me,
I tend to call her,

Ante Up

The hunger of my heart beats on E,
As the starve hits,
So does the lost love which finds me,
I never knew I could be so heartless,
But the negative that tears me down,
Brings forth a new sunrise to stand me up,

I think it's time to ante up...

I'm guilty of a past lie,
Way passed the past's eye,
Wiping away my last cry,
Waving to the good - hello, hi,
Shouting at the bad my shallow goodbye,
Is it I whom needs to gamble away this sigh?

I think it's time to ante up...

When my foundation begins to rumble,
I realize it's the most high doing the shaking,
No words come out the mouth,
My thoughts simply mumble,
When life hands me hand-me-downs,
My own experiences lend me a helping hand-me-up,

I think it's time to ante up...

Life's a gamble that's worth the bet.
With the choice of life or death in the palm of my hand,
I choose life.
It's just sometimes difficult to live out.

Tale Of The Hidden Gem

Hidden amongst my inner fears,
My worries are hung from a line and left to dry,
As I forcefully squeeze them,
Outcomes the dirty water portrayed as these earthly tears,
Throwing spiteful jabs at the question of why,
Shielded by these everlasting layers of confusion is I,

(I begin to chip away the bad covering the good in me.
Once finished, it will all become clear to me.)

As my weaknesses are chipped away,
Slipped away is the grasp of my sins gift-wrapped for today,
Trapped in my own tree,
Branches ripped off, bark peeled back,
Lonely he only seeks to be free,
Reaching out for freedom to be handed right back,

(My covering is almost gone as I patiently stand.
All the negativity begins to sink slowly as does quicksand.)

Time's so patient yet moves incredibly fast,
The mind seems vacant,
I cherish each thought as if it were my last,
Recalling most of the vast past,
Buried within is the man,
Head of State and beyond his class,

(Completely in the nude, it appears my covering has left.
It is now on me to take my first steps.)

When that star in the sky decides not to shoot,
I fall hard trying to find that sturdy floor,
For this beautiful lie reveals its ugly truth,
Speaking misleading words heard to be ignored,
Spared are the aired emotions wished not to be exhaled anymore,

(I am now able to shine bright and progress forward.
The better part of me is now for the world to see.)

Despite the bad I encounter,
I was created for greatness.
I may only appear as that bare rock in the grass,
But to me I will always be that hidden gem living in forever's past.

Destination: Supernova

The good, the bad,
How could I forget it?
When sad add a tad bit of glad,
Split decisions keeping me level-headed,
When words don't know the half,
Thoughts begin to gas me up unleaded,

Atop it all,
Then I start sinking down,
Bound to fall,
Short of breath from the drown,
Lost at sea for all to see,
Embarrassment forced to yield,
Stopped at the waterfall of confidence so deep,

The sleep so visible,
But the dreams so stealthy,
Providing a profound visual,
Is the magical brain playing tricks on me,
And I had to find the true self,
Apparently I've been living the wrong me,

The emotions take a tumble,
Hear it kerplunk,
The soul screams its final rumble,
For a wasted heart is simply love drunk,
Vomiting its care for the world,
Blacking out from the luminous supernova,
Self-destructing due to the beautiful hangover...

Supernova: A rare celestial phenomenon involving the explosion of most of the material in a star.

I was born a star.
But I must undergo a supernova,
So that I'll explode into the superstar I'm meant to be.
I'm on a mission, heckled by pit stops, in route to my destination.

Britney My Epiphany

Let's parachute to the end of forever,
Free falling to a bottomless pit,
Filled is the mind drilled with pleasure,
Enjoying food for thought consumed by the bit,
Hit with golden wit perceiving life's treasure,

In line is the spine of our love intertwined,
And my Britney seduced by my words,
So I simply fed her line,
Line by line she reads on,
Speeds on is the song of our bond so strong,

Shall we leap in the air to never come down,
Round for round goes the sound,
Echoing the beats of our hearts pound for pound,
Coming to a screeching halt,
Paused are break-in attempts at our love vault,

Happy am I,
With a head taped to the ground,
Eyes glued to the sky,
Then suddenly ripped off,
Lost without a cause,
The brain is stripped off,

In comes Britney,
Bearing gauze she patches my loss,
What an epiphany...

From Insomnia With Love

Insomnia secretly seduces me,
Dangling a wakeful night in the face of clueless me,
A weakened heart strained by the grip,
Gasped by the grasp,
She holds firmly to cold air that slips from the lips,

Reigning thoughts take control of my inside,
Dripping drops of delirium upon my mind,
The brain almost ready for departure,
Stranded in a frenzy due to its new stalker,

I had fallen for her from the start,
Mesmerized by her fine art,
Sculpting sleeplessness,
The love is addressed,
Suppressed by her sneakiness,

Our relationship is a strong one,
The bond constricted by the long run,
While I toss and turn,
Hoping to enter my dreams before her song's sung,

So beautiful yet her spell so homely,
Keeping me company but her love kills slowly,
Until Insomnia softly reads the murder she wrote me...

Conscious Conscience

My conscience comes alive,
Then comes short of breath from the die,
That's why I dream in the sky,
Pleading to set me free,
But it's better when the loving is high,
Fallen attempts bleed these tears,
Whispering words of failure unto my ears...

My conscience comes alive,
Someone's bound to here my cry,
Until then I'll write my poetry why,
Stand motionless in the cold,
Await my heart to hit lukewarm,
Physically young but the mind old,
Aged from the darkest storm...

My conscience comes alive,
Speechless and sleepless,
Thoughts preach evil words,
Public eyes will never read this,
Words so cursed,
They should actually bleep this,
Brain almost empty,
Lost fuel from the leakage...

My conscience comes alive,
Blinded by the light,
Yet I still have a vision,
Place this life upon a canvas,
Paint a picture how I'm living,
Drifting off to a fantasy land,
Where rests a plan to count helpless sheep,
Jumped atop the globe but I never felt this leap,
The sound of peace is now heard,
Shift my mind out of drive,
Parked is the thought embracing the good word...

But then...

My conscience comes alive...

Sound of Silence

Silence is too loud,
Music used as my ear plugs,
Reality too much of a crowd,
Dreams psychedelic like drugs,
The mind,
A powerful thing to waste,
Already lost mine,
Face numb, kind of hard to taste,

Can you hear the silence?
......................................

Trapped within a daze,
But the weather's clear,
The sleepless days,
But the rebel's here,
Head spinning out of control,
And what's whack is,
It's difficult to stay bold,
And keep my mind on its axis,

Can you hear the silence?
......................................

Can you hear my heart beat,
I can't, where did the love go,
Previous visions on repeat,
Try to keep my highs above low,
The world so complex,
Waiting to read my success story,
I just can't seem to find the book yet,

Can you hear the silence?
......................................

Pray to shed light on these dark thoughts,
Tempted by sin so the soul halts,
The true emotions,
Will they ever see,
Try to live life to the fullest,
But sometimes my spirit hits E,

Can you hear the silence?
......................................

Oh no...
I'm losing sight,
The top so far away,
The will...
A mile away,
I fall short,
Hitting the ground,
Staring right back at the sky so grey,
The heartbeat slows,
Then stops to bring forth a new day...

Can you hear the silence?
......................................

W4L

Poetry in mind,
Veins filled with morphine,
Sex in line,
Inhale the whore scene,
Try not to hit rock bottom,
And see how the floor's clean,
Rather breathe the insane,
Mind set on fire,
Thoughts draped with propane,
One strike of a match,
Imagination leaking,
Music used as the patch,
Words heaven sent,
Pray to get the catch,
The serpent teases,
Kick him so he'll hiss off,
Evil ideas abandon me pissed off,
Prepared for lift off,
Blinded by what's before me,
So reality I switch off,
Stranded on an island,
Surrounded by water,
Winds incredibly violent,
One of a kind sorta,
Tempted to approach the border,
Cross the line before I'm out,
Head full of doubt so the face pouts,
Chin rests in the hand,
Eyes try to close,
Some images bland,
I try to doze,
Too weak to stand,
Lost,
Positivity buried in sand,
Searching for the thrill of it,
Never mind me,
I'm weird for the hell of it...

W4L= Weird 4 Life

I don't suffer from insanity.
I enjoy every second of it.

Wild Blue Yonder

Why, oh why,
Must I live to die,
Hysteria teases the mind,
Far away my thoughts shy,
Freedom of hatred,
View the train ahead,
All aboard the locomotive,
Destination heaven,
The informed arrival,
Of the unforsaken,
Newly seen beings,
The mistaken humility,
Dreams as quote clouds,
As the cause of my tranquility,
Star dust trickling down my robe,
Facial expressions broadly immense,
Overshadowing the intense view of the globe,
Clock hands patiently ticking,
Every thirty minutes for an episode,
The hope I keep gripping,
What's left to hold,
The make-up artist of the brain,
Awaits immortal men upon the threshold,
Leading to a heartfelt beat,
Seeking sounds waves for frequency,
Frequently resulting in supreme indecency,
Peaks of the most high,
Greets unworldly acts beyond the close sky,
A fall from bountiful clouds,
Monitoring the length of the dive,
Hesitation of fear struck in the night,
Deprivation of a tear cried in life,
Now or forever hold your peace,
The buy of the century,
Housed delusions bring forth the illusions,
Yearning for departure of the leash,
As the present presents itself with confusion,
Using what's gained from losing for soothing,
Spectacular intact pillars,
Created to stand tall,
For all blinded givers,
Breaching holes through infinity,
Revealing life's mystery,
Simply through my affinity,
High grade attraction,
Forms nourishment for high grade distraction,
Sigh in darkness,
Soon the doom will remove shade from my gloom,
The negative shall plan to squander,
Less stress earned from permanent rest,
Dispatching my arrow into the wild blue yonder...

Mayday

Gracefully gathering thoughts together,
Pressure from above the stormy weather,
Hence the sharpness of my clever,
Drifting down slowly like a few feathers,
Unsteady from the mental tremors,
In response the brain severs,
The never's,
Said success for me couldn't be,
Quite possibly,
I see through thick & thin easily,
Dare not dwell on a loss,
The cerebrum feeds off eternal chaos,
When the sight is lost,
As the snow falls,
Juggle the anguish and toss,
A mile high in the sky,
Bitten but save me from the frost,
Barrel away from the beryl gray,
To a new day,
Where the sun has more to say,
A place when time doesn't delay,
Nor does a friend decide to betray,
But lay by your side,
Instead of dashing behind a tree to hide,
But glide,
On the surface of eminence,
A period of high rank,
Seeing a virgin soul in innocence,
Prepare to walk the plank,
Simply when taken advantage of,
The push and the shove,
Comprising of,
More than the eye can see,
In addition to love from the beloved,
Now hover,
Unto the plateau,
Of forever never-ending,
Anonymously suspending,
In-air ideas to grow,
To show,
Just as to display,
But lay low,
As surprise attacks lead to dismay,
Surrender it all,
Some of what they say,
The distress calls,
So my spirit yells Mayday, Mayday, Mayday...

Mayday derives from the French venez m'aider or m'aidez meaning "come (and) help me"

Humanity

Silently I sit here,
Legs criss-crossed,
My mind I can hear,
Pray but a wish lost,
Confusion fills my head,
Then turns to anger,
A heart full of dread,
Foul dreams make me unsanitary,
Birth of a new thought,
Aborted due to late night insanity,
Mental images too deep to explain,
On the breaking point but I refrain,
Slowly losing my ability,
But the will I quickly regain,
Sometimes I smell what Lucifer's cooking,
Walk straight into hell's kitchen,
I already know it's wrong,
But my right mind keeps slipping,
I close my eyes,
All I see is black,
Open my eyes,
I still don't see what I lack,
Don't really care about that anymore,
I anticipate that day,
When I can fly through a closed door,
I want to get away from it all,
Back to when I was nine having a ball,
Realize we are more than we see,
Come out of your body and see the man to be,
Similarities with me unlikely,
I guarantee,
At times I wish to step out of this revolving door...
Of humanity...

Humanity has been good to me upon these short days.
But Lord knows I await the next phase.

THE N.E.R.D

Years pass by,
The rain still pours;
Even though I try,
The pain steers me off course,
With my poetry I can go for rounds,
But I'm just a nerd with a backpack seeing sounds,
The pushing keeps me from the shoving,
Placed in an evil world so troubling,
I smile and turn into something loving,
Something new and old,
Similar to the visual of a soul,
I come bold,
Before you I stand far,
Seal my weirdness away in a jar,
Then you can go to hell,
It doesn't matter where you are,
Forget money, fame, and power,
My soul I just won't sell,
The big hand is on eleven,
Five minutes before the hour,
Shield yourself before it comes,
The wrath of man,
Hear it as he drums,
I'll play this sad song,
The guitar's strings are strummed,
Excuse me from my childish games,
Wish to see me burn?
Watch me burst into flames,
Now I'm nameless,
Brainless,
Throw wrong into my head,
Where's the gun so I can aim this?
Shoot out my positive thoughts,
Let it penetrate your heart,
But some are two-faced with two hearts,
Was I doomed from the start?
Searching for that little bit of light,
Sometimes I wish I could fly away,
And simply touch the sky like a kite,
See the light in the midst of the dark,
Drive my envy straight to a halt,
So I'll put it in park,
Odd because these words appear absurd,
I told you once before,
I think in a complex manner like a nerd...

N.E.R.D = Normally Extraordinary & Remotely Different

I'm not stupid, insane, or inept at everything I do.
I just dare to be different.

Who Am I?

I am slipping away from my conscience,
My thoughts flee away from me,
Therefore my imagination is not complete,
Wounded, my imagination desires to leave my mind,
I wish to separate but I fail to grasp my brain,
My brain shivers,
Anticipating its attempt to run out of my head,
My head spins out of control from all the emotions,
Now I am headless,
I reach out to Worry,
And it rips my left arm,
I throw a jab at Fear,
But it breaks off my right arm,
As I walk clueless,
I stomp on the doors of Lucifer,
The ultimate temptation slides sin,
And cuts off my feet,
Sorrow tackles me from the East,
It blows my right leg,
Pride approaches in the West,
And kicks in my left leg,
Jealousy sucker-punches me in the stomach,
Anger drives its sharpest sword through my chest...
My heart...
What is left?

I have a soul, a spirit, personality, a belief.
I have life.
I have God.

Take off your mask and reveal your face.

Who am I?

Sadness In August

I took the dark out the night, and threw it at the day...
Day...
Now that shit is grey...
Grey...Hey...

They never listen to me, don't know what to say...
Say...
It's sadness in August, all the way to May...
May...Hey...

It was all in my head,
The pain cuts deep,
So my thoughts bled,
But the opposite of red,
The sky is light blue,
But my face is dark blue,
My heart beats slow,
What I see is slow,
Because my eyes seem to look low,
I keep it solo,
My mind screams so loudly,
But they can't hear it though,
Like a slight whisper,
Watch the devil slither,
Shower you with kisses,
Stabs you in the back,
Listen to his hisses,
I sleep with his Mrs.
Mary Jane,
Watch out,
She has many sisters,
Head to the sky,
Become one with the music,
And wonder why...why

I took the dark out the night, and threw it at the day...
Day...
Now that shit is grey...
Grey...Hey...

They never listen to me, don't know what to say...
Say...
It's sadness in August, all the way to May...
May...Hey...

Stumble with the blocks of life,
It's hard to build them,
My brain has outlines,
No color,
So I fill it in,
At it again,
Blink these eyes of mine,
For me to see,
It takes longer than time,
Hear me now,
My voice rhymes,
Swings in the summer breeze,
Like wind chimes,
Yet so silent,
Similar to mimes,
And I'm amused,
By the bliss of music,
Like muse,
Hysteria,
I am going insane,
My brainless mind frame,
But who's to blame,
Feelings are alike,
Like the same,
Because...

I took the dark out the night, and threw it at the day...
Day...
Now that shit is grey...
Grey...Hey...

They never listen to me, don't know what to say...
Say...
It's sadness in August, all the way to May...
May...Hey...

The Tears

My eyes are completely different from yours,
I even view images while they're closed, of course,
Try to figure out why you see what you see - what's the source?
And these eyes charge ahead with no fear, like a horse,
The visual pain stings like a shot,
My eyes are crying now, but I am not,
It's complicated to bring my tears to a halt,
I can see clear because my eyes bleed fresh water, no salt,
When the water washes away,
Will I see the day?
Where I'm able to bow my head, fold my hands, and pray?
This life without tears is like bread without butter,
The tears force me to fumble my words so I stu-stu-stutter,
The real me hides behind this face,
I pray to tackle life's issues so I kneel with grace,
I come out of my body,
Have a conversation with nobody,
Play a mental game - it's a hobby,
Then step back through the doors of reality,
I'm walking right in the lobby,
Slap my face to snap out of it for a while,
Swipe tears from my cheek,
Watch them fly about a mile,
Fall down, get back on your feet,
Await for you and success to meet,
Holding my future in my hands like a cup,
I want to throw it in the wind and see if it goes up,
To the sky,
Sky's the limit,
This picture before my eyes appears backwards,
So I flip it,
Around and around,
Watch it Merry-Go,
Round and round,
The tears will splash for years,
The pain I receive before they come strikes hard like spears,
To see the true self,
Everyday I stare into mirrors,
And analyze the question of the tears...

F.E.A.R.

Fear,
Who is it?
Why does he leave me stricken?
Feeling like the enemy of the dog owner, so he says "sic 'em!"
I live it,
Out without doubt,
I'm about my dreams coming to life, so they sprout,
Spread like a drought,
As I run from him years seem to swim by me like trout,
Am I allowed?
To be proud, bright as the sun shining on a cloud;
But then he pushed me in my back, so I bowed,
Tumbling steadily over, awaiting the storm to be over,
It'll swarm you till it's over, I told ya,
Physically I'm 19 but my mind's 40 & over,
Running at the speed of light but I can see him over my shoulder,
Wishing to have good luck like, where's the 4-leaf clover?
Playing little games like a kid but he's so much older,
He's been piercing man's heart since before Titanic tipped over,
Going on and on for years,
Still having a thrill when a heartbeat picks up, so he cheers,
He'll leave me laid out on the ground like I had too many beers,
Oh, and did I mention that he doesn't give a fuck about tears?
And if he sees you begin to fight back, then he veers,
Off into another lane plotting his insane game,
Why do it? Is it the fame?
Everyone knows his name...
Some don't even care,
They have both ears but just won't hear,
So to get attention I set off a flare,
For you to witness & recognize this thing called Fear...

My Poetry

There's way too many people in here, like a slum in the room,

And there will be no rice in the air, until I'm jumping the broom,

When I come in the room,

Hear my word and they assume,

That I make good music like Kid Cudi, Man On The Moon,

Can't wait to get a fast car, make it go zoom zoom,

Take you on a trip with my thoughts like doomed on shrooms,

Never liked what my father said so I spoke up to holler,

Till one day he grabbed me, choked me up in my collar,

Don’t like to show the stress so I choose not to bother,

The tears have a race down my face as I pray to my God Father,

So I get on my spaceship & head straight to Mars,

Maybe then will I be able to sleep amongst the stars,

This corrupt world is for keeps - it's ours,

And time seems to drive right by me like fucking cars,

But to stay on track these rhymes keep hold of me,

These are thoughts compiled in one story called...

My Poetry
